E. Coli in Water
· E. Coli naturally lives in our bodies
· Hundreds of different types of strains, only a few are harmful (0157:H7)
· Harmful strains produce toxin—causes bloody diarrhea, cramps, and in severe cases kidney failure
· E. Coli comes from animal waste(humans included)
· Often washed into streams/rivers that animals drink out of

My class has recently started visiting Playground Fantastico to make the park a better place. We have split our classroom into several groups such as film, camera and planting. Two organizations, the Gasser Foundation and the Rotary Club, have donated money to our project to make the park a better place. With that money funded to us, we buy all the materials needed.
